this module focuses on the creation of cross-media information products that aim to make complex content understandable and accessible. students learn how to systematically structure and process data, thus transform it into compelling visual representations for mobile and cross-media applications.

they develop the ability to analyze complex informational requirements and design functional, aesthetically sophisticated solutions that effectively communicate content across different media.

a strong emphasis is placed on understanding and applying cross-media strategies. students explore the differences between analog and digital media formats and learn how to tailor visual content accordingly. creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork are actively fostered throughout the module, with students working collaboratively on real-world projects.

in addition to conceptual and strategic skills, students acquire foundational knowledge in information design, study key theories of information visualization, and apply these insights in the planning, design, and production of visual content.
